Let’s do life, side by side, one little step at a time. Let’s walk together on the path of health and well-being.
Over the last 6 years we have walked together. (Yes, this blog is 6 years old!) When we first started we were climbing a mountain. The mountain was called Health and Well-being.

There were various camps along the mountain trail. We had climbing tools and a specific set of tasks to accomplish at each camp. Once those tasks were accomplished we moved on to the next camp level.
It was very structured. We climbed together for a few years.
After chatting with some readers we decided that the structure was too much. Especially if we have perfectionist tendencies because it can be an all or nothing approach.
That sets us up for failure and I never want to do that! Plus, the mountain climbing theme made the goal seem far off and hard to achieve.
The focus switched from climbing a mountain with lots of structured steps to simply walking along the path of Health and Well-being. It is a well travelled path, with many sign posts along the way.

As we walked together I suggested one little step to take each week.
One little step related to our body, mind and spirit. That one little step encouraged us as we continued to walk along the path.
But lately I am learning more about this path of health and well-being. Some days the path is smooth and we take lots of steps forward. Other days the path is steep and rough and we make little progress.
Real life stuff!
I am also realizing that we will be on this pathway for the rest of our lives. We will always be making choices or taking little steps.
Let’s make the best choices together.

Don’t walk alone!
Come walk with me.
I’ll share what I am learning about life on this pathway.
Just real life stuff.
Nothing to buy.
No program to follow.
Just you and me, doing life and walking together taking little steps to health.
Today’s little step: Come walk with me on the path of Health and Well-being. Watch for my posts on Facebook or better yet – sign up to receive weekly posts by email so you’ll never miss one.
Peace be with you,
Dixie
