Diet free! Healthy habits for a lifetime

Do you struggle with getting healthy?  Are you always tired?

Maybe you’ve dieted on and off for years and you’re frustrated and discouraged because nothing seems to change for long.

Or maybe you are overwhelmed by all the health information available and need some direction.

Do you need a regular dose of encouragement and hope? 

How about a friend to do life with?

You are at the right place!  If you are new reader, I am so excited that you found my blog! 

If you are one of my regular readers I am very thankful that we do life together!

I know your struggles because they are mine too.  For years I tried the latest diets and lost weight only to gain it back again. It was extremely discouraging.  My self-esteem was low and so was my energy level.

But in the last 10 years I’ve figured some things out. 

I made lifestyle changes.  

I lost 20% of my body weight. 

I have kept it off too and we all know that’s the hard part!  

I have energy.  I’m strong. My self-esteem is high.

No diet, no program, just little changes that became habits.

If I can make small changes so can you!  This summer I turned 60.  Maybe that qualifies me as an older wiser woman?

Studying and researching are things I love to do. I am told that I have the ability to share what I learn in a way that is easy to understand.

I’ve learned that our health and well being is so much more than exercise and choosing good food. 

Our minds and our thoughts impact our actions, our mood and our health more than we realize. 

I have a negative narrative going on, in my head, most of the time.  How about you?

Our spirit is often neglected when we are pursuing better health. 

But as spiritual beings I believe a relationship with God is vital to our health. 

God cares about all the details of our lives.  

He provides the strength when we have none, the peace when we are anxious and the wisdom when we don’t know what to do.

Health and well being is about: managing stress, handling major life changes, coping with relationships, and dealing with all the demands of our busy lives.

I’ll do the research and find the best healthy choices for us. Together we’ll learn how to cope with life in a healthy way.

Savouring the good days and coping on the bad days with proven strategies.  

We’ll make little manageable changes for our bodies, minds and spirits.    

No diet.  No program.  Just you and me, doing life together, taking little steps on the path of health and well being.
